David Charron – President/CEO, MRIS

He joined MRIS in January 2001 with an extensive background in real estate, information systems, and Internet business solutions. He is responsible for overseeing all MRIS operations and for ensuring on-going communications with the MRIS Board of Directors and the MRIS Shareholders. David managed organizations that successfully defined, marketed and delivered information systems to Real Estate Professionals from 1980 – 1997. Prior to joining MRIS, David was the President of Net Input, an Internet-based business consulting practice serving Fortune 500 clients in apparel, media, sports and real estate.

David currently serves as Chairman of the MRIS Investment Committee, as a Director for the Realtors Federal Credit Union and is a member of the NAR MLS Policy Committee. He has been recognized by Inman News as one of the “most influential people in real estate” as well as one of the “top ten newsmakers” by the Swanepoel Trends Report.



Kent Menser – Executive Director, BRAC Task Force for Howard County
He is currently the Executive Director of the Howard County BRAC Office and Chairman of the Howard County BRAC/Fort Meade Growth Task Force.  Additionally, he is Deputy Coordinator of the Fort Meade Regional Growth Management Committee (RGMC). Prior to joining Howard County Government, Kent served a twenty seven year career in the US Army, to include assignments as an Aviator and Armor officer in Germany, Viet Nam, Korea and the United States. His final assignment was as the Garrison Commander of Fort Meade from 1990 to 1993.  Since departing the Army, he has worked as a leadership and management consultant to the Croatian Minister of Defense, VP of a small computer manufacture and as an Account Executive with SAS, a large business intelligence software company.  He and his wife, Arlene, have been residents of Columbia for 16 years.



Steve Meszaros – President, Maryland Association of Realtors

With almost a decade in new home sales and marketing, Dennis has been a successful salesperson, general sales manager, and interactive marketing manager for a national top ten builder. Dennis has received awards and industry attention in each of these positions; most notable were the numerous awards for the innovative use of technology. Training salespeople to sell online has been a long-time passion for Dennis. In the 1990’s Dennis created one of the first Internet sales departments in the automotive industry. After entering real estate, this experience aided in the development of an online sales and follow-up training program for new home salespeople. This and subsequent initiatives resulted in salespeople of all experience levels equipped to successfully communicate with the online buyer.



Cathy Werner – Broker, Remax American Dream

The same year she was named “Rookie Broker/Owner of the Year” by the Central Atlantic Region of RE/MAX International. Since that time RE/MAX American Dream has grown to more than 125 licensed professionals and 30 support staff located in 2 offices serving the Baltimore Metropolitan Area. Under Cathy’s guidance and direction, RE/MAX American Dream is now ranked among the top 500 real estate companies in the country, among the top 50 in RE/MAX International and among the top 10 in the Baltimore Metropolitan Area.
